Biography

​Laura García Álvarez, known professionally as L'AURA ARCHÉ , born in Asturias, started in music in 1996. When she was only sixteen years old, she collaborated as a soloist in various cover bands, adapting her voice to styles such as jazz, soul, funk, pop and rock. She also began studying vocal technique and guitar.

 

In 2004, already settled in Barcelona, she collaborated with METROPOL RECORDS and VALE MUSIC in several singles and summer compilations, touring all over Spain in 2008. During this period in Barcelona, she continued her studies in Music, Theatre and Cinema at the COCO COMIN and SÉPTIMO ARTE schools, thanks to which she was selected to participate in the musical comedy HOTEL DULCE HOTEL, by the group HOTEL COCHAMBRE.

 

In 2014, L´AURA ARCHÉ decided to go for her own compositions and a personal style. The result is QUERIDO MR. VAIN, her first album, recorded at LA CATACUMBA studios in Barcelona and produced by MIGUEL PINO. It features the collaboration of musicians of the stature of EL NIÑO DE LA HIPOTECA, JAVI MARTÍN (Ojos de Brujo), TONI PAGÈS (Antonio Orozco), JORDI CRISTAU (Fito y Fitipaldis, Manolo García), DAVID SOLER, JOAN PAU CUMELLAS and ARECIO SMITH, among others. DEAR MR. VAIN is a rock album with carefully crafted melodies and very personal lyrics, reflecting the background, character and vocal style of L´AURA ARCHÉ.
